The best of all eggs are a chicken’s egg. A soft-boiled egg is better than a hard-boiled egg. In the egg, there is a perfect balance. An egg that tends to be hard-boiled helps to expel gassy wind. The yolk tends to be hot, the white to be cold. The yolk makes the blood sanitary but is not nutritious.

Cedar/pine ● Ard, shajarat ar-Rabb, sidr, ard al-Lebanon, shajarat al-Allah sanawbar

Farooqi lists the plant under the family name Pinaceae, whereas Johnstone attributes the plant to the family name Coniferae.  The Bangladesh National Formulary of Unani Medicines identified the plant pine (ṣanawbar) as Pinus longifolia. Pine kernels are the edible seeds of the female pine cone. They have a tiny and teardrop-shaped, some may be an oblong shape.

Barley grass ● Sha’eer/talbinah

Barley grass along with other young green plants that grow into cereal grains is used extensively and are quite safe to consume. They are totally gluten free. Barley grass, oat grass, wheat grass, and alfalfa are all part of the healthy grass family, and they contain a lot of vital nutrients. Their nutritious value is similar to that of dark green vegetables. The barley plant was one of the early cereals cultivated by humans. In ancient times barley has been used in dishes ranging from bread, soup, and cereal.
